TTS Product Review: Basket of Bunnies

Over the last month I’ve been holding onto an exciting bit of news, at least it is for me any way. From the new year I will be changing my career and going back to working in and managing a day nursery. This is some thing I knew I would do eventually and I have been lucky enough to find a lovely company to work for.

The nursery it’s self is brand new and will share my approach which is inspired by Montessori and Reggio Emilia. I could not be happier and after sharing the new with my friends at TTS they had some great ideas for product to help get us started and build on my vision.

This month they sent us a beautiful basket of patterned bunnies. Each bunny is equal in size but the patterns are different, from polka dots to stripes and even cute little floral patterns.

When they first arrived I thought they would be a toy we would use simply for matching patterns but I was very wrong the children (aged 13 months-6 years) took an instant attraction to them and played with them in a range of ways which make this resource great value for money. I couldn’t wait until the new nursery would open I had to show them to the children who are still with me.

My smallest loved to play the game of emptying and filling the basket and placing the lid back on. She also had a lovely time loading them all into the dollies buggy and pushing them around the room.

The toddlers however found they were a great resource for role play and would create their own tea parties or place them on their home made bus to go on a trip together.

As the weeks go on more ideas for playing with these bunnies seem to be unravelling and with Christmas around the corner they will be a great addition to the children toy work shop.

The basket of bunnies are price at £83.94 inc vat and can be found here
