Last night when Little man was put to bed lady P started discussing Diwali which they had been talking about at school. So with half an hour till her bed time we made some pink salt dough and and got making a diva.
The salt dough recipe is simply
1 cup of salt
1 cup of flour
1/2 a cup of water
1 tea spoon of food colouring
Once mixed together P took a handful of the salt dough and pushed the candle into the dough. P then decorated it before it was left to dry out.
Lady P loved poking in the beads and sequins and we then left it to dry over night.
