Toilet Roll Printed Patterns

This week we have been having fun with a collection of toilet rolls which had built up in our recycling. using items from around the house for printing activities is a great way to spice up painting play and to make maths fun.

I started off the pattern for Little man as you can see below. I made three different types of pattern’s getting harder with each one. I named the colour’s along with little man to help him recognise the patterns and asked him what colour would come next.

This did take Little man a while for little man to get the hang out of but i think there are lots of idea’s out there for making patterns so I’m sure with some more practice he will get it.
