Tuff Spot Tuesday: Food Play

Welcome to Tuff Spot Tuesday. We have teamed up with the wonderful Adventures of Adam to bring you a weekly Tuff Spot challenge. Every Tuesday we will be setting you a #TuffSpotTuesday challenge based on a weekly theme. It is up to you how you interpret the theme. Don’t worry – we will share some ideas to get you inspired. Last week we looked at the Theme Shaving Foam a firm favourite in our house during the summer. Clare from ‘Clare’s Little Tots’ shared a lovely idea to make an ice cream parlour with the shaving foam, a great idea for after a visit to the beach!

This week we are focusing on food play. From Rice play to Mash potato food play is one of our favourite resources to play with in the tuff spot, I always keep large bags of beans, cereals and pulses in the cupboard so they are to hand when the children in my day care need a quick set up activity.

You can also join the #TuffSpotTuesday challenge on Instagram (@AdventuresAdam and @PlayfulLearners). We will choose at least one Tuff Spot activity from a non-blogger to feature the following week.
