Surviving Maternity Leave

We are lucky I guess in the UK that we are offered a maternity allowance even if we are self employed, I believe in the US they are not so lucky. I have been on maternity leave now for a couple of months and of course it can get tight at the end of the month, some time you just need that extra help to make you last through till pay day. With the sales this month its been handy to get things for the new business and I have been making the most of it. Running a cake business there are so many things you need to get you started. To make this possible on a low budget I turned to a credit card to use for the company and needed to make sure I was getting the best deal. I came across a site totallymoney.com where you can compare credit cards and what each one has for offer. I was looking for something which would offer money back instead of air mile this way I could invest that money into the company too. I had the idea after reading an article on the BBC site I was shown by a friend who was in a similar situation.

Cherry Amour is really starting to take shape. The logo is currently being designed and the website is currently being built. I have even had enquire's for sweet table at PR events and can't wait to get stuck in once my maternity leave is finished.

The plan is to open a shop this time next year to expand what I will be offering. If you get a chance please do pop by our facebook page
